SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – On July 27, 2024, Attorneys Angeli Andan and Jeriko Bais of Bais Andan Law Offices made a special appearance as guest speakers on the Archdiocese of San Fernando Radio Station 91.9 Bright FM’s segment, “”It’s a Girl Thing!””
During the program, Atty. Andan and Atty. Bais were joined by Ms. Mary Joan Yabut and Ms. Sophia Veronique Amurao to discuss important topics surrounding family leave benefits. They explored the 105-Day Expanded Maternity Leave, also known as Republic Act 11210, which provides comprehensive support for working mothers, and the Paternity Leave Act of 1996, or Republic Act 8187, which grants leave for fathers to support their families. The discussion focused on how these laws empower parents and enhance work-life balance for Filipino families.
